e4761I know that I have whined a lot over the years that vintage Christmas decorations can be difficult for me to get my hands on.  I never go to an auction assuming that I will be able to actually walk away with any Christmas items.  Really I assume the opposite. “I’m Late, Im Late
for a very important date,
No time to say hello, goodbye,
Im late, Im late, Im late
and when I wave,
I lose the time I save.”

Disappointments: A Japanese made cottageware teapot went a little too high you my blood. At a certain point I say hold out for Beswick, Kensington or Price.

Regrets: Happily none this week to speak of.

Back to editing. I must hurry because the Make Mine Pink
12 Days of Christmas starts tomorrow. And guess who isn’t ready.

I was also surprised at the great difference in the weight of them. The Art Deco Fan is perhaps the most fascinating. It recalls the 30’s glamour of the art deco age. It weighs about 4.5 pounds. The heaviest at over 5 pounds is this cheerful green and white.
