Since traveling first to study in England and then to work in Wales in the early 1970’s I have been completely taken with all things British and cottage. Back in the United States I then applied that passion to my shop which I owned and operated for over twenty years. And through all of that the love of my life, Marc, and I have been fighting a flea market and antique mall addiction. We even got our dog, Lila at the Rogers Flea Market. We have a son too –one of the few things we didn’t get at a flea market.

Twitter / preservecottage- preservecottage: Four mile run today in record time...another benefit of the hiatus. It has been a great lesson in taking the time to do what you have to
- preservecottage: Just discovered summer sm hiatus produced great spike in sales. But I miss my friends.

Lila appreciates all of you who have asked about her. Here she is in all her charismatic intensity. Slices of Life
Hi Pamela, Kind of a round about way of finding you; looking at down/feather images on the internet. Am interested in any Ticking you may want to part with for my down pillows. I’ve only begun to look at your comments and am not too good at finding my way around the sites but I have an e-mail address if you’d like to talk about what you may have. I’d love to hear from you and I’ll keep reading. I like Lisa. My business name is “Abbey Downs” after my white Manz kitty. I opened a feather bed in my garage years ago; trying to salvage the feathers (lost cause). Abbey took over one pile. The only way I could see her was when she’d raise her head and open her eyes. Don’t know how she could breath but loved to sleep in it. Needless to say,,feather bedding is not a good choice for recycling other than it makes great compost material!
More later. Reading some more.
Carolyn
I meant Manx not manz…oops!
