What would you guess this is? All there is in this pot are tomatoes, sugar and a split vanilla bean. The first recipe that I saw for this was in a Williams-Sonoma Taste Magazine with a little article by Chuck Williams about his first visit to Paris. Green Peppers Galore

 
We’ve now moved into the green pepper phase of the summer.  Six huge ones were stuffed yesterday. For a little Mediterranean flavor I threw in some raisins, used a puttanesca sauce and sprinkled on some feta before baking them. Oh, and I grated some zucchini into the stuffing mixture too.
